About the theme 'One Piece' 🎬

One Piece is a manga (japanese comic) about a young man named Luffy the Captain of pirate crew on an adventure to find a mythical treasure called One Piece and become the King of pirates. 

The story is an epic spanning more than a thousand chapters (started in 1997 and still ongoing as of 2023). It has immersive world building with deep characters that influence the course of the story. Vishal and his generation grew up with this story.

• Japanese Hibachi with a live on-site Chef

  • When filling out the RSVP, take your pick on your protein!

• Plenty of snacks and desserts

• Drinks - maybe grab an Uber or stay at a hotel nearby! Whoever wants to stay later, can!

  • Our good friends Jasmine and Jaydeep are on bartending duties

For the little ones

There will be just a couple of little ones around.

These VIPs will have:

• A room just for the little ones

  • An entire soft toy bonanza is coming our way including a ball pit and a bouncy castle!!!

• A change table area

• Wet wipes

• A separate room to nap. They can nap in Kian's Playpen upstairs!

Say cheese! 📸

• There will be Instax photos being snapped throughout the afternoon and evening. 

• Go behind our green screen and strike some poses just for laughs. We decided a single backdrop just wasn't enough and went for endless backdrop options.

  • Not to worry, our helper Joanne will be there to help you navigate the high-tech environment of greenscreen and/or the Instax experience.

• There will be an artist on site to draw you/your family LIVE in caricature format. Courtesy of the very talented Jessica!

• Weiting's sister, Winnie, will roam around the house to take photos on a regular camera.

Caution 🚨

• There will be around 30 guests at the house. 

• If you feel uncomfortable around so many people, we understand and will not hold it against you. 

• We ask that if you are feeling unwell (e.g. runny nose, coughs, fever) in the last 5 days, please refrain from attending. We'll connect later.

• Come for some laughs, fun, and a good time.

General Notes:

Kian is only 1 years old. We all know babies won't remember that much. 

We're putting on this event to celebrate our friends and family because you all play an important role in our lives. Kian's birthday is just an excuse to bring us altogether. 

Plus, with COVID-19 these last few years, we haven't seen you in so long!
